Apologies, but due to an error in the re-written playoff odds program, the playoff odds we originally ran with our DVOA projections on Wednesday were slightly incorrect. (The NFC was mistakenly given home-field advantage in the Super Bowl; the three London games were also not coded as neutral-site games.) We have corrected these issues, added the Green Bay-Seattle game as final, and re-run the playoff odds for you to enjoy.

They launch on Saturday mornings now. Otherwise, it's the same old friend waiting to meet you with jokes about Mike Tice and Justin Tucker.

I'll be writing a weekly column for NBC Sports this year taking a statistical look at the Sunday Night Football matchup. After the Colts got to him four times in last year's game, the first one is on Peyton Manning's ability to avoid sacks.

The NFL has suspended Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker for four games for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.
ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that Welker tested positive for the use of amphetamines.
NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal reports that Welker's appeal was heard two weeks ago.

Hey kids, B.S. Report! Bill Simmons and I talk about the upcoming season, including our picks for the top teams competing for the Super Bowl, the most likely unexpected Super Bowl contender (we're both on San Diego), and the most likely team to go through a "hell season" (Bill says San Francisco, I say Arizona).

It's time for the TENTH ANNUAL Football Outsiders Open Loser League competition. Yes, tenth. Kind of nutty. And we haven't changed the rules at all in all that time. Even though we probably should. We're lazy that way. Come pick your roster of bad (but not bad enough to get benched) players for the first half of 2014, with a shot at winning free fantasy projections for 2015. Let's see how many of you can do this without Trent Richardson on your team.

Notre Dame and Baylor entered the one-loss group in what is shaping up to be an extremely tight race for playoff consideration.
