ESPN is reporting that the Bengals have acquired Dewayne Robertson from the Jets in exchange for fourth and fifth round picks in the 2008 draft. The Bengals thought they had their defensive tackle problem solved when they agreed to a trade with Detroit for Shaun Rogers, but the trade fell through and Rogers was snapped up by rival Cleveland. Robertson, who was the fourth overall selection in the 2003 draft, was a poor fit in New York's 3-4 scheme, but he represents a major upgrade and comes for less than the going rate for established defensive tackles.
