Ravens Lose Sypniewski to Knee Injury

Tight end Quinn Sypniewski will miss the 2008 season after tearing a knee ligament in a training camp collision with linebacker Antwan Barnes. This is terrible news for Sypniewski, obviously, but the Ravens shouldn't have much trouble finding a replacement -- Sypniewski ranked 41st in DVOA and dead last in DPAR [1] last season. Teammate Todd Heap ranked 14th in DVOA, so you can't blame Sypniewski's poor ranking on the quarterbacks.
