Despite living in New York nearly his entire life, Cale was spared the burden of New York sports fandom and was raised a Boston fan. He attended Amherst College as an English major and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication.
