CHAD PELTIER was raised in Georgia by Ohio State Buckeye parents. He graduated from the University of Georgia where he developed a love for Athens, a respect for “Run the damn ball, Bobo!”, and serious confusion over how to feel about Urban Meyer. In addition to writing biweekly college football columns for Football Outsiders, he also contributes to the SB Nation blogs Football Study Hall and Land Grant Holy Land. He currently lives in New Haven, Connecticut, but misses SEC country.
There were three teams that were clearly head-and-shoulders above the rest of college football in 2019, and that showed as LSU rolled over Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl while Clemson survived a tough one against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl.

Championship Week went largely as expected except for Oregon's upset over Utah in the Pac-12. But with the favorites winning otherwise -- and comfortably, in the case of the SEC and ACC -- we are assured the best possible playoff foursome.

South Carolina's win over Georgia last week was big, but the Fighting Illini's defeat over the Badgers was actually a bigger upset both via the Vegas line and its potential impact on the playoff. But the Badgers weren't the only top-25 team to get upset.
