Arizona Cardinals Reveal New Uniforms

NFL Offseason - The Arizona Cardinals have revealed new uniforms, going from one of the NFL's most distinctive looks to one of its most bland.

That's a home uniform that is all-red except for the white helmet, an all-black alternate, and an all-white road set. Beyond the removal of most piping, stripes, and patches, the biggest change is the addition of silver as a tertiary part of the color scheme (or fourth color, considering one of the uniforms is all-black). The classic Cardinals logo on the helmet is mostly unchanged, though it is larger with subtle 3D effects.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm not a fan of any of these changes. The old uniforms were unique and immediately recognizable. The all-white uniforms with bold red swaths down the side, in particular, were one of my favorite sets in the league. These? It just looks like Ohio State or Washington State had a yard sale and the Cardinals bought everything in sight.
