NFL Offseason - The Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer has agreed to return to the Buffalo Bills on a two-year deal, according to a report from The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia.

The Bills signed Poyer in 2017, playing 91 games over the last six seasons. Poyer finished the 2022 season with four pass rbeakups, three interceptions, 64 tackles and six tackles for loss through 12 games. He is one year removed from earning a first-team All-Pro nomination with Buffalo, earning a Pro Bowl nod in 2022.

Buffalo finished the season fourth in total defensive DVOA and eighth in defensive passing DVOA. The Bills bring back one of their biggest free agents, reuniting Poyer with fellow safety Micah Hyde.

Losing Edmunds stings, but at least the secondary is coming back intact behind them.

Good for Bills. (Unlike Bengals letting their safeties go).

It has been 3 years in a row that Bills were the best team in AFC by DVOA. Hopefully you will reach the Super Bowl next year.

Those two safeties will do a lot to mitigate the loss of Edmunds. Those two are almost telepathic back there. Let's just hope they avoid injury...
