NFL Conference Championship - Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn has informed teams that he will return to the Dallas Cowboys in 2023, according to a report from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Quinn was considered the favorite to land the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job as recently as Thursday afternoon. He also conducted head coaching interviews with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.

Quinn will be re-joining the Cowboys for his third season as defensive coordinator. Dallas finished second in defensive DVOA in both 2021 and 2022, with this year's team finishing with a second-best 8.9% adjusted sack rate and the league's third-best defensive passing DVOA.

Methinks he was understandably underwhelmed by the opportunities available given his current situation in Dallas.

Panthers or nothing huh?

Probably his limit though. Just take him at his word league. 2nd straight year he's closed himself off.
