Vikings Fire DC Ed Donatell

NFL Divisional - The Minnesota Vikings announced tonight they have fired 65-year-old defensive coordinator Ed Donatell after their early playoff exit. Donatell's future was in question since Week 14, when head coach Kevin O'Connell had told the press he was considering all options to improve the defense. Donatell was only in Minnesota for one year, and the Vikings finished 27th in defensive DVOA despite their 13-4 record.
