There is no draft. Simply select your lineup as described below. You can start or update/change your lineup anytime throughout the Loser League Challenge (see Official Rules for details on changing lineups).

Each team will consist of ten (10) NFL players in the following starting lineup format: 2-QB, 3-RB, 3-WR, 2-K.

The Loser League Challenge runs through the regular NFL season. Registration opens on August 18, 2021 and ends on January 9, 2022 (Week 18).

Each week’s score will be added to your Season Total which will accumulate for the duration of the season-long challenge. You can begin at any time and will be eligible for both season-long and weekly prizes.

Scoring applies to any player selected in your lineup for each week’s game(s) (inducing, but not limited to, injury, bye week, canceled game, game rescheduled to another week, COVID, inactive, etc.).

• 1 point for each 20 yards passing
• 1 point for each 10 yards rushing
• 1 point for each 10 yards receiving
• 4 points for each passing TD
• 6 points for each rushing or receiving TD
• -2 points for each fumble or interception
• 3 points for each field goal made
• 1 point for each extra point made
• -2 points for each missed field goal
• -5 points for each missed extra point

Penalties:

• 18 points for any QB who has fewer than 10 passing attempts in a game
• 15 points for any RB who has fewer than 8 rushing attempts in a game
• 15 points for any WR who has fewer than 3 targets in a game
• 12 points for any K who is not active or has no attempts but another K on his team attempts a kick for any reason

The highest scorer at each position gets thrown out each week (remember, we're aiming for the lowest score here). You'll end up with getting credit for 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 K every week.

Tie breaker procedures will be used when raw scoring results in equal number of fantasy points based on the scoring noted above.

For Weekly tiebreakers:
The score from All 10 players will be used (no players thrown out)
In the result of another tie, then the score from only 2 QBs will be used
In the result of another tie, then the score from only 3 RBs will be used
In the result of another tie, then the score from only 3 WRs will be used

For Season-Long tiebreakers:
The sum of all week's scores from all 10 players will be used (no players thrown out)
In the result of another tie, the sum of all week's scores from only 2 QBs will be used
In the result of another tie, the sum of all week's scores from only 3 RBs will be used
In the result of another tie, the sum of all week's scores from only 3 WRs will be used

Each week, players are locked at the original scheduled NFL kickoff time or when the actual game is played, whichever comes first.

The season-long grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to the BIG GAME in LA with a special appearance from Aaron Schatz, founder of Football Outsiders. The second-place season-long winner will receive a PlayStation® 5 game console. Additional weekly prizes will be awarded. Prizes subject to availability.

Weekly winners will be announced on the Tuesday following the date of each weekly NFL game. The Grand Prize will be announced on or about January 11, 2022. Winners will be notified via the email registered with their account and will have 5 days to redeem the prize.
