ESPN: Week 6 DFS Matchups

At ESPN Insider, some of our favorite Week 6 DFS matchups include Deshaun Watson (stacked with Will Fuller), Ameer Abdullah, David Njoku, and we're cautiously looking at Amari Cooper as a value pick.

Each week I will recap the picks I made in the previous week's column to gauge the accuracy of my advice. References to rankings are from DraftKings for that player's position.

Jameis Winston - he finished as QB10 after a big fourth quarter. Still, expectations were for more from this one.

Deshaun Watson - a touchdown after a Hail Mary on the game's final drive led to a QB1 finish for Watson (35.54 FPT). You might think he'll cool off, but the Browns are an excellent matchup this week.

Ben Roethlisberger (fade) - he hit 300 yards, but a career-high five picks led to just 10.58 FPT.

Jermaine Kearse - good value pick as he found the end zone again to finish with 13.8 FPT.

Tyreek Hill - his punt return score really salvaged his night, allowing him to finish with 16.8 FPT.

Alshon Jeffery (fade) - Carson Wentz had a huge day, but Jeffery was still quiet with just 6.1 FPT, so he needed to be faded.

Hunter Henry - a tight end struck the Giants again. Henry's touchdown gave him 13.2 FPT.

Delanie Walker (fade) - I faded Walker even before the news that Matt Cassel was the starting quarterback. He only put up 5.5 FPT, and the lone touchdown went to Philip Supernaw instead.

Jay Ajayi - I may have to abstain from the Miami offense until we see more (or Moore). Only 8.9 FPT for Ajayi against the Titans.

Marshawn Lynch - he wasn't a total bust as RB20 (12.3 FPT), but it wasn't a great day. The Ravens took such an early big lead that it definitely had an impact on Lynch's volume.

Brandin Cooks - again, not a disaster (13.5 FPT), especially when you consider what other top wideouts have done in some games this year. But we expected more from Cooks in a game that was a bit of an offensive clunker on Thursday night.

Jared Cook - my other matchup play at tight end didn't work out. Cook only had 4.5 FPT and lost a fumble.

Ty Montgomery (fade) - his ribs prevented him from playing.

Week 1 tally: 7-4
Week 2 tally: 6-5
Week 3 tally: 5-8
Week 4 tally: 6-8
Week 5 tally: 8-4
Season: 32-29
