NFL Week 8 - ESPN asked me to rank the league's deepest and thinnest rosters. This was more of a subjective exercise rather than the creation of some new metric to measure depth, but it came out interesting. I ended up with Baltimore on one end and the Rams on the other. Where do you agree and disagree? Click the link below.

Asking for all of us who pay for FO+ and don't pay for ESPN+.

Andre Dillard has been a flop as a first-round pick, but it's pretty nice to have a former first-rounder as your swing tackle.

This is a nitpick but Dillard only plays left tackle. He's a disappointment as a bust.

Dillard has started games at both left and right tackle for Philly, and has practiced regularly at both. The description in the article is spot-on.

He hasn't played RT since 2019. Last year when Lane Johnson was out and Jordan Mailata was healthy Mailata moved to RT.

He practiced at both this off-season. It just depends on how they feel and who gets injured. The only backup OL they have who's dedicated to one position is Jurgens.

I actually doubt they'd slide Mailata over at this point.

I don't understand this take. FO provides separate content to ESPN. They don't control who has access to the ESPN content. ESPN, obviously, is separate from FO's exclusive content.

The point is that FO+ is already a horrible value for its cost and hiding yet more of their writing behind a second paywall is of course going to antagonize people who aren't getting much from them to begin with.

And they ask FO for some. If you don't like the value, don't buy it. Speak with your wallet.

Overseas readers seem to get the ESPN stories in full for some reason, so...

Thinnest Rosters : Rams, Cardinals, Giants, Panthers, Vikings.

Deepest (almost wrote thickest) Rosters : Ravens, Bills, Eagles, Patriots, Cowboys.

Patriots roster rates well for being so homogeneous, not so much the Rams 'stars & scrubs' as a almost an entire roster of close to  adequate starter.

Hope that can provoke some discussion here and not offend anyone's IP.

Its not hidden for me, either.

The list is indeed limited to the top and bottom 5.
