NFL Moves TB-MIA Game to Week 11

The NFL has announced that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Miami Dolphins Week 1 game "will not be played in Miami on Sunday " due to Hurricane Irma.

It has not been decided when or where the game will be played. Both teams have a bye in Week 11, so playing the game that week is a simple option.

Texans Guarantee $49 Million to DeAndre Hopkins

Sarah Barshop of ESPN, per Adam Schefter, is reporting that the Houston Texans have signed wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to a five-year, $81 million contract extension with $49 million guaranteed. Hopkins' $49 million guaranteed is the largest for any wide receiver in the NFL.

The 27th overall draft pick in 2013, Hopkins went over 1,200 yards in both 2014 and 2015 before his numbers nose-dived trying to catch passes from Brock Osweiler last season. Since being drafted, Hopkins ranks 12th in the league in receptions, sixth in receiving yardage, and tied for 20th in receiving touchdowns.

If you've read FOA 2017, you know Carolina is No. 1, but the the 2016 last-place team with the second-highest chance of winning its division is different from the team with the second-highest chance of making the playoffs.

The NFL Position That Everyone's Talking About In 2017

Michelle Bruton of OZY.com looks at an offensive tactic that teams around the league are stealing from Atlanta: the rise of the H-back. First made popular by Joe Gibbs' Washington teams in the 1980s, the H-back is similar to a tight end, but lines up just off the line of scrimmage or even in the backfield and often goes in motion.
