Mark Ingram Undergoes Minor Knee Surgery

Defending that Heisman just got a little more difficult. Mark Ingram already had a tough road to hoe in that regard, what with Trent Richardson breathing down his neck, the Alabama passing game likely improving (and therefore eating up larger chunks of yardage) and the inexperienced Alabama defense likely giving up longer drives here and there. Now he will be missing at least one game to boot. Ingram underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee this morning and will miss, at the very least, the free opportunity for yardage known as San Jose State. Pity Ingram if you want, but you probably shouldn't waste time pitying Alabama. The egregiously talented Richardson will temporarily step into the starting lineup while former four-star recruit Eddie Lacy takes over the No. 2 slot.

Uh, that should be "tough row to hoe," not "tough road to hoe."

You suck, Marko, for beating me to it.

I will now grab a hoe and run out into the street to see how easy it is to hoe a road, just to prove you wrong while my kids are hoeing our rows of raspberries. Who am I kidding? They're just eating the berries and lauging their asses off at me getting hit by a car when my hoe catches on a manhole cover.

Send flowers.

You should just be happy that I don't settle for the typical your/you're and there/their typos! Creativity should get me somewhere.

You could go out to the country somewhere and find a road that isn't paved and hoe it. Probably still not easy, but a hell of a lot easier on the back than the blacktop.

Hopefully it does not extend further into the season, though Trent Richardson is more than good enough to carry the load.
