Imitation Isn't a Form of Flattery at All

The Times takes a look at how pervasive identity theft is among NFL players. Apparently, Ty Law doesn't actually walk around in public wearing a thick gold chain, and Ben Roethlisberger isn't the secret identity of Brian St. Pierre, even though some dude tried to pass himself off as both of them. "At a grocery store near the Long Island home of Jets Coach Herman Edwards lurks a woman who has passed herself off as Edwards's wife, Lia.

"Lia told me and I said, 'What?' " Edwards said. "I guess it's happened a couple of times."

I wonder if she continued the charade after the game in Pittsburgh.

I saw her a couple days ago in the grocery store, she now passes herself off as Edward's ex-wife.

I feel disrespected because the people impersonating me at this site haven't been mentioned in this article yet.
