The Eagles get rare back-to-back Any Given Sundays! Actually, they're barely mentioned at all here; instead, we talk about the playoff-bound San Francisco 49ers.

The Georgia Bullddogs' dynamic duo should be on NFL rosters at some point in the next 72 hours. Which will be the better pro? That depends on what kind of running back you're looking for.

Re: ESPN AGS: 49ers over Eagles
My poor team. No article has tempted me to give in and become an Insider more than this one...and it's garnered not a single comment.
My first year in San Francisco was 1993. It was *just* a little different back then.
Re: ESPN AGS: 49ers over Eagles
It did finally convince me to pay up for insider, it's a decent piece but if you've watched all the 49ers games this year, it wouldn't have suprised you much. The niners have been playing great run defense, great special teams and have avoided turning the ball over on offense. I expect you knew that. I'm more interested in whether or not the strong performances by our offense and Aldon Smith against Philly are indicators for improvement in those areas over the course of the year.

A great article breaking down Alex Smith's performance against the Eagles, the good and the bad, for anyone interested:
