With Cadillac questionable, does the favorable matchup extend to Derrick Ward? Considering starting him over Slaton.

It's a bit hard to compare players when you give them ratings x% above/below normal without stating what normal means. For example:

Who is best: McFadden(+6), Hightower(+8), or Slaton(-7)?

that's when you use your knowledge of football to make the best choice!

Personally, I would go with Slaton and McFadden. But it's your team!

Will I hate myself if I start Felix Jones over Slaton?

by bremoboy :: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 8:40pm

Is it out of place to ask for the +/- table to be cut and pasted here?

Hmm... so who's a better play? Steve Slaton or Steven Jackson?

by SolomonsLines :: Fri, 09/25/2009 - 10:46pm

I'd go with Slaton, although under most scenarios you are playing both. Who is the other rb you are starting?

by Red Hedgehog :: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 12:40am

I like Felix Jones over one of them.

by SolomonsLines :: Sat, 09/26/2009 - 8:18am

I think Jackson is the one to sit. I think that offense will find it difficult to move the ball on Green Bay. Houston's at home against Jax, they're much more likely to be running out a lead, and should have more redzone opportunities. Even if Slaton doesn't get the goal line carries(which I think is still an if), he's the one who gets it on the 5 or 6.

Lots of Slaton questions. One from me, too: I need to pick 2 out of Slaton, Sproles, and Kevin Smith.

Perhaps people who drafted Slaton highly are starting to worry, there are guys that I'd be worried about, but Slaton isn't one of them. Week 3 is the best matchup he's had all year.
Kevin Smith is probably the consensus play of the other two, but I'd sit him. Redskins probably won't be as bad as the were last week. The Dolphins are 30th in DVOA defense and San Diego will move the ball all day.

No posting the +/- table here, sorry. Or shilling your site in each of your comments.

Waitaminute. Julius Jones is +8% facing the Chicago defense? Is that right? Wallace is starting and the O-Line is racked by injuries. I'm a little skeptical on that one or did I miss something from the Bears' injury reports?

I have to start one of Michael Bush, LeSean McCoy, Donald Brown or Julius Jones. Who should i go with?

by speedegg :: Sun, 09/27/2009 - 11:59am

Dude, you're screwed on RB's. LeSean McCoy (Westbrook inactive today) or Julius Jones (+8%) would be the best bet. However, I'm not sure about starting Jones (an average running back) with a back-up QB against the Bear's defense.

Much like Benson last week, Jones did alright today.
