ESPN: Week 16 DFS Matchups

At ESPN Insider, some of our favorite Week 16 DFS matchups include Blake Bortles, Alex Collins, Martavis Bryant, and Eric Ebron.

Each week I will recap the picks I made in the previous week's column to gauge the accuracy of my advice. References to rankings are from DraftKings for that player's position.

Drew Brees - he wasn't a big hit at QB15 (18.14 FPT), but two fumbles in the red zone by Brandon Coleman and two touchdown reversals for Michael Thomas certainly had a big impact on Brees.

Joe Flacco - an all-too-easy touchdown run by Flacco helped him to QB10 with 21.82 FPT. Thanks, Cleveland.

Jared Goff (fade) - the incredible part about the 42-7 beatdown by the Rams in Seattle was that Goff didn't really have to do a lot because of Todd Gurley and incredible field position. He only finished with 11.8 FPT.

Jamaal Williams (fade) - maybe more running may have helped ease Aaron Rodgers into things better. Williams only had 3 FPT in Carolina.

JuJu Smith-Schuster - that late 69-yard play was a big boost to the rookie going over 20 FPT.

A.J. Green (fade) - only two grabs for 30 yards in Minnesota as the Bengals never had a chance.

Jimmy Graham (fade) - nailed the fades this week. Graham had another big egg with 0.9 FPT in the worst loss of the Russell Wilson era.

Jordan Howard - not a total dud (10.3 FPT), but definitely expected more from Howard in Detroit. The Bears had to play catch up in the second half, so Benny Cunningham even had more points than Howard because of receptions.

Carlos Hyde - only 5.9 FPT as the Titan bottled up the run game well.

Devin Funchess - this was a very disappointing one since the matchup was great, but Funchess only had one catch for 19 yards. Hell, Damiere Byrd had two touchdowns for the Panthers.

Josh Gordon - only 9.7 FPT as Baltimore's defense stepped up.

Jason Witten - 8.7 FPT on a quiet passing night from the Cowboys. I would fade Witten against Seattle.
