ESPN: What's Wrong with the Bills' D?

Vince Verhei examines what's gone haywire with the Bills defense despite a big addition in the offseason. Of particular concern, opponents are absolutely torching Buffalo’s defense once they cross the 40-yard line … but is some of the damage self-inflicted?

And I thought it was because of the "vanilla prevent" defense by Dave Wannstedt.

That post was removed, with only a fan comment: http://www.buffalorange.com/showthread.php?203280-Comical-Wannstedt-wiki.......

"The Buffalo Bills made the biggest signing in free agency last offseason when they acquired pass-rusher Mario Williams, formerly of the Houston Texans. Williams, the top free agent on the market, signed a six-year, $100 million contract to help save a defense that gave up 27.1 points per game in 2011, 30th in the NFL."

Peyton Manning?

Mario Williams is 292 lbs, pretty sure that's bigger than Peyton Manning.

Oh and I guess his home must have the highest elevation of any of the free agents from this offseason, in order to be the "top free agent?"

Shaun Rodgers weighs 350. I'm willing to bet that 350 is more than 292.

Is his head bigger than Peyton's? ;)

In all honesty, that should be "most surprising", not "biggest". As a long-time fan, I almost fell out of my chair when it was announced.
