The thread that links Seattle's worst performances this season is primarily offensive struggle, with quarterback Russell Wilson failed by his porous line.

The question is not whether Saquon Barkley is the best running back in this draft class. The question is whether any running back, even one as good as Barkley, warrants a top-five draft selection in the NFL in 2018.

Re: ESPN: The Seahawks' Big Weakness
Don't have a subscription, so I can't view, but I would guess their weakness is pass protection and/or QB efficiency when they are forced into obvious pass situations.
Can someone briefly state what they think their weakness is?
Re: ESPN: The Seahawks' Big Weakness
Considering the picture shows Russel Wilson getting mugged by a Cardinals defender, I'm going to say it's pass protection.

I wonder if the lead in "Russel Wilson failed by his porous line" would give any clues.
Re: ESPN: The Seahawks' Big Weakness
The o-line is their weakest link, it's not really a secret. Last off-season they shored up their d-line pass rush but didn't make any significant moves on the o-line, and it's come back to bite them this year. Part of their struggles have been due to injuries, but even when healthy they haven't been particular great at either pass or run blocking. They have played better lately, though. I actually thought the pass protection was okay vs. SF. Wilson has a tendency to hold onto the ball even when a blitz is clearly coming. But earlier this year (Carolina, Houston, first STL game) he was literally running for his life every pass play.
