ESPN Upset Watch: Panthers over 49ers

We've been driving the Carolina bandwagon since the preseason, so why stop now? Although home-field advantage still makes San Francisco the favorite, the game is a lot closer than people think, and the Carolina front seven is a strong weapon against San Francisco's running game. Cover Watch looks at Oakland and the New York Giants.

IDK, I like the Panthers but part of me thinks San Fran will cede dominance up front to them and run trap blocks or wham block the crap out of them all game.

I really want Carolina to win, but Jim Harbaugh had a couple week to game plan and they always seem to get the running game going unless it's a divisional game.

Two teams have been picked here against teams coming off a bye. How does the system factor this in? Does it at all?

maybe. i just dropped steve smith to pick up a second d/st for my playoff run. he's a weak link fantasy-wise IMO, or if anything vulture food. that said, let's see him nab 3 td's in SF
