It is a good day when I can hear mention of Michael Vick and Hong Kong Phooey in the same sentence!

Hong Kong Phooey--between that and The Shining, probably the Scatman's finest moments.

Next week: I'm laying $50 on a Funky Phantom reference.

As usual, this article is made of pure win.

Alex Barron apologized to Roy Williams for committing the holding penalty that nullified the Williams touchdown that would have won Sunday night’s game.

You've got to feel for Barron on that one. If only he'd let Romo get sacked, that touchdown would've stood.

Expect a “Flowers for Algernon”-style course correction soon, only with fewer mice and more facemask penalties.

My high school English lit. teacher and I thank you.

The correct response is actually "My favorite Manning brother is Cooper, because he has never licked an Oreo on national television."

That line about Michael Vick's legendary judgement is just awesome. You were really on form when you wrote this.

Loved the Raiders flugtag line.

So I'm going to agree with all the preceding comments in my love of this write-up, not just this week, but just about every week.

The one thing I don't get is how in the Panthers-Buccaneers capsule, the whole thing is basically a bash on the Panthers, and then Tainer picks the Panthers anyways. I'm so confused as to why he things this.

I believe the NFL has a new policy in place - all newspapers that pick against the spread are required to be wrong at least 50% of the time.
