Lovin' the Revis stuff.

Is it weird that I was constantly distracted by the fact that the team logos were displayed in two dramatically different sizes, seemingly at random?

Nope, it's very distracting. Are they halfway through updating their team logos or something?

I might not have noticed, but for your comment. Now I can't stop seeing them.

Don't think about elephants indeed.

It looks like the teams he picks are slightly smaller. They also have a shadow falling on all four sides, which I think is supposed to signify the spotlight being on them. Exceptions: Niners, Steelers, and Redskins apparently don't deserve a spotlight.

Cowboys are smaller; he picked Texans.

Also doesn't correlate to the home team, the favorite, or the team on which he used the better jokes.

(I also like the Eagles)

"How a journeyman (Ryan Fitzpatrick) with an 8-14-1 record and more interceptions (27) than touchdowns (21) can provide a spark is unknown. Maybe he’ll carry flint rocks in his pocket, hoping they’ll strike each other when he’s sacked."

So funny!

The world was a better place before I knew that Gregg Allman had recorded an album with Cher.

At least Richie Sambora didn't.

"Hasselbeck may discover that the hero-goat pattern now works more like a slot machine: three goats in a row, and Charlie Whitehurst wins the jackpot."

This is beyond the usual Tanier genius.

Andy hey, if Tanier's picks "do not reflect the betting line" does that mean... they're vampires?

Excellent column as always!

Nice to hear an Ultraman reference. Guess it's a good thing Derek Anderson plays in Arizona, where he doesn't have to fly as far to the sun to recover his powers. Maybe he'd play better without the rubber suit on.
