Aaron Schatz on Down on the Bank Podcast

I did a nice podcast this week with Jaugars fans on the Down by the Bank podcast. It's a good listen for folks who want to know more about me and my thoughts on analytics past just Jacksonville. We talk about why I've opened up my Twitter feed (but not this website) to politics, civil rights issues in the NFL, the current status of analytics in the NFL, how I decide on who gets chapters in FO Almanac, and my past in Daytona Beach. And Bortles. Sigh. You can't avoid the Bortles.

I think I've got you by a few years, Aaron, but mentioning one's personal history with Daytona Beach reminds me of one my personal Hall of Fame bartenders, who I had the privilege of tipping excessively in the early 80s, thanks to a forged driver's license. Sandy, of The Pit Stop bar, was the female Tom Brady of of hooch slinging, although she bore greater resemblence to Giselle.

Now I'm all nostalgic....
