The Lions opened the 2021 draft with three picks for their offensive and defensive lines, a much-improved approach for a team that famously once tried to rebuild with three consecutive top-10 wide receiver selections. It's also an approach that seems to match the kneecap-biting mentality of new head coach Dan Campbell. But the team's biggest future question remains at quarterback. The previous Lions coaches turned just three of Matthew Stafford's nine above-average DVOA passing seasons into playoff berths and zero wins. After the Rams sent him to Detroit for Stafford, new Lions starter Jared Goff will need a dramatically improved supporting cast to enjoy a better fate. – Scott Spratt
