The Bengals arrive at the start of a new season still riding high off 2021's improbable journey to the brink of a Lombardi Trophy. In order to get the team over that final hump, and keep quarterback Joe Burrow from retiring early, Cincy invested heavily in its offensive line during free agency, bringing in three new starters: right tackle La'el Collins, guard Alex Cappa, and center Ted Karras. The new and hopefully improved line should make the Bengals offense even more fearsome, while the defense--especially the passing defense--was the area attacked in the draft. If Cincinnati can blend the success of its postseason defense while ramping up that offense to an even higher gear, the team might just make another run at the title. That's if the dreaded Super Bowl hangover doesn't hit the team between the eyes
