The Rams entered 2020 with a ton of questions on both sides of the roster, but they rode an impressive defense led by Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey to a wild-card berth. Even though he marshaled the team to an upset in the first round of the playoffs while dealing with an injury, Jared Goff did not play up to Sean McVay's standards and was shipped out of town following the season in favor of Matthew Stafford. The Rams are betting that swapping out the former No. 1 overall picks will be the change needed to return to the Super Bowl (and win it this time). However, adding Stafford may not be quite as much of an upgrade for the offense as conventional wisdom would have you believe. If it's not, that would leave the Rams frustratingly short of Super Bowl contender status once again.  – Carl Yedor
