The Dolphins may have little hope of a 2021 playoff berth after a 1-7 start to the season. But after maintaining the status quo at quarterback at the trade deadline, there is little wonder how they will use the rest of their regular season. Tua Tagovailoa has always looked better by DVOA than his broader reputation. But he isn't trending the way the Dolphins hoped with a -8.5% passing DVOA last year and -14.0% rate so far this year. Tagovailoa will need to cut down on the major mistakes that have sabotaged a few potential Dolphins wins if he wants to keep his starting job for the 2022 season. - Scott Spratt
