A year ago, the Eagles looked as if they were deep into a rebuild. Now, they’re poised to make another playoff run. In signing Haason Reddick and trading for A.J. Brown, they addressed their most glaring weaknesses — pass rush and pass offense — but their ceiling remains tied to Jalen Hurts’ development. They need him to make quicker reads, throw with more anticipation, and attack all areas of the field. If he can, Philadelphia is good enough to win the NFC East. If he can’t, general manager Howie Roseman likely will move on in the offseason. — Thomas Bassinger
